We have this single red breasted nuthatch coming to the feeders just about every day. But it sure is tough to get a decent shot of it. Besides the weather, and hence the light, being miserable lately, (which makes a swift little bird like this very difficult to get a clear snap of) this little fellow is very timid. In the past I've had little reds eating out of my hand. But not this one, this one is very cautious, so I have to be sneaky. Had to wait till it was on the feeder, then ease a window open to get a clear shot. As soon as it saw me, it was gone. I hope it learns to trust me as time goes by.
