Red-crested Pochard (Netta rufina)

Hello all I have not a clue on this beauty. Any ideas? I checked my sources and I checked photos of water fowl and did not see this baby any where.

It's a Red-crested Pochard (or looks good for one, can't see anything suggesting hybrid). Good shot!
 
Thank you MTem I see why now I could not find it in any of the North American id sites.

Fantastic capture and picture of this beauty Dave. Not a species we expect in the US, especially inland. Fabulous bird and picture!!!
 
Hey KC and Stanley thank you very much. This one was a real surprise for me especially when I read that they mainly are seen in the British Islands. I swear I am very amazed at the different birds and animals that can be seen around the Las Vegas Valley.
