Red enough? (Malurus melanocephalus)

Can't resist Fairy Wrens. I spent a lot of years trying to get decent photos of the Red back only to find there were families within 5 minutes of my home. Even though I have lotsa shots now I can't resist more. Usually the red appears as a smaller sadle but in the breeding season the males spend a lot of time making sure the red is displaced to the max!

Superb shot Norm, great control of the contrast, that red can flare as bad as the head colour on the Blue
