We found him near a rubbish tip in the Iron Range Cape york Qld and he was on the look out for rodents. I never realised how long there tail feathers are Regards Geoff

I've seen these guys up reasonably close but never noticed such long tail feathers either, perhaps he's a bit of a freak, or crossed with a Pheasant Coucal :) Nice shot BTW
