Red-Headed Woodpecker
Watched this guy for hours at Cape May Point State Park. At one point he was working on the end of a thick branch and couldn't find any food, so he started working his way down the branch. As I watched, he would put his ear to the branch and listen for bugs. Move down, listen, move down, listen...and then when he heard them under the bark he would go to town trying to get at them. Very entertaining/interesting!
