Red-headed Woodpecker
I went back to the only place I know that I have seen them and bingo I got him. I will keep going back there to see him. My wife and I watched him. He had set a pattern from flying one tree to another tree. He was going to an Oak Tree and getting acorns and then finally to his nest I presume and putting the food in a hollow tree. How do I know? you may ask. I saw him go in one hole and come out another hole. Isn't that cool?

It sounds like you had fun watching this chap, Daniel. A lovely clear portrait with great lighting.

That's a cracking picture you've taken of this woodie - many thanks my friend.

Thanks for the interesting information about the woodpecker. I like the way the lighting is falling on the bird. Beautiful picture Daniel
