Red Kite cruising over the chalk pits (Milvus milvus)

  • Gleb Berloff
Screeching filled the air as both peregrinelets got triggered by a red kite calmly gliding over the chalk pits. They began orbiting it, but aside from yapping and squeaking loudly, did not get close to it as it soared overhead, and passed out of sight behind the cliffs behind me. This is the first proper image of a red kite which I have.
