Brilliant Paul!! love this image of the the Kite on the ground!! but I honestly think the tagging to be that large is unesesary :t::t::t:

I agree with you Ken, they are big tags and there should be a more discreat type.

An absolutely splendid picture, but again why such enormous tags are necessary heaven alone knows. Perhaps we should contact Lancashire Ornithological society and see if they are the culprits. I know they are tagged at Gigrin but no where near as big as this. Whatever - you have certainly taken a super picture of this magnificent bird
