Red kites (Milvus milvus)

We had a wonderful birding holiday down south in Skne. The weather was mostly good and we saw a lot of birds.Somewhere between 106 and 110 species on all(they're not all identified)- The target was 100.
Some rarities among them though they tended not to be the ones I got decent pictures of. :-)

The far south is the place to go in Sweden if you want to see Red kites. I'm not always happy with the pictures I get though but this time I was. I'll be posting more of these.

My goodness, this is spectacular Graham! The one in the background makes the thumbnail look like a Pterodactyl (lol). I couldn't wait to enlarge it see what it really was. TFS!
