Red-legged Partridge
This is a species I see at home... but usually running for cover! I've very few pictures of them at all.

This one was tidying up underneath the feeder, so it was a rather shady spot under the trees.

OK, now I'm really green with envy :S Still, thanks for sharing. At least I can vicariously get close to a red-legged partridge ;)
As for being nice to the student (just one) he had fun and so did we examiners. All went well |=)|
 
Super photograph of the Frenchman Delia. The flycatcher is known as Paperbark because it frequents paperbark trees.

Great shot of this striking-looking Partridge, Delia! Not a bird I see very often and I don't think I have a single picture.
