Red-necked Grebe (Podiceps grisegena)

Still present this morning and giving even better views than the other day and in much calmer waters. It seems to be more accustomed to people now viewing from the dockside plus it was happy swimming amongst the yachts in the marina and between the fishing lines.
Location
The Marina, Hartlepool. UK
Date taken
14th November 2010
Scientific name
Podiceps grisegena
Equipment used
Canon 7D + Canon 400mm f5,6 + Kenko 1.5x teleconverter
Another super image of this bird Ian, I've seen a pair of these in Denmark a couple of years ago.

I know this species is fairly common in europe, but it was a new bird for me last summer. I didn't manage such a good photo, though. Nice work.
