They're nearly as nice in winter plumage as summer - how lovely to get him turning circles like that.

Great shot,Easty,all we need now are some Squares/oblongs/triangles.Good plumage detail,and many thanks for your info re using the 1x4.When the waethe rimproves ,will have a try,too cold at the moment!!!
 
A superb shot of this bird. The plumage is beautifully detailed. Great circles on the water surface. I like the deilcate bill and head features.

Strictly speaking, this phalarope is drawing ovals, but it's such a lovely bird and photo that I won't quibble - although, strictly speaking, I already have ;)
