Red Robin (Turdus migratorius)

The robins are still here. We've had a couple heavy frosts and that must make the mountain ash berries very palatable to them. They're in the tree all day long plucking away. It's kind of funny to watch, because though they're good flyers, they're not all that acrobatic in the branches. They often lose their balance when reaching for a berry, so there's a lot of fluttering and flitting going on.
