Red-Rumped Parrot (M)
Decided to visit a park on the other side of Adelaide while in the area. To greet us as we parked the car, this colourful Red-Rumped Parrot and his wife feeding on the ground, ignoring Australian Magpies and people only metres away.
Habitat
The Red-rumped Parrot is found in open grasslands or lightly timbered plains, as well as along watercourses and in mallee farmlands with access to water.

Morialta Conservation Park, Adelaide.
