I'd never heard of these till someone put on some pics of ummm... I think Black Saddlebags a week or so back. These red ones are beautiful and what a great picture this is Stanley - superb detail, especially in those wings and the hairy legs!

Quite a lovely image of this Dragonfly Stanley.

Normally, our Saddlebags are plentiful down here but not this season.
