Red-shouldered Hawk (Buteo lineatus)

Has anyone out there ever gone birding, lined up a nice shot, get the focus just right, snap the picture and get the "no memory card" error message? Me neither. Actually that's exactly what happened this morning. Fortunately I had a backup in my waterproof camera. This RS hawk was waiting for me this morning at the park entrance.

Yep!! And battery expired! Even though you've got spares, by the time you've fitted them, the subject has gone!

You troubles didn't stop you getting such a lovely picture of this hawk though, did it LOL.
