Red shouldered/redtail hybrid (Buteo lineatus, Buteo jamaicensis)

This beautiful hybrid has been frequenting a central massachusetts town for 2 years. He has the red shoulders and barred tail of the red shouldered hawk but the belly band and red coloring on the tail typical of a redtail. His vocalization favors that of a redshouldered
