Red-stockings (Tringa totanus)

Ever since learning to recognize their call, I can't help but think of those bright red legs as fancy stockings for dancing, rather some red stockings I had back in my teens. Their "tune" is so danceable: Toodoot Toodoot, tadoot daDoodoot.
