Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis)

We've finally made the move out of the wildfire area to the northern coast of Oregon. Can you believe we were so worried that we purchased our new home online without ever seeing the house or the town? Google maps is what really helped us see what this new area looked like. So far we're loving it. Still unpacking but I'll try to slowly catch up with all your pics soon-sure missed this forum! Haven't had the camera out so will be posting pics from the last home for a while. Forgot to mention the tiny dots in the blue sky are gnats that the hummingbirds enjoy catching around the tops of the pine trees.
