Red-tailed Hawk
Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis) Drying its wings like a vulture. You can see that its belly feathers are still wet.
Habitat
Converted Blackland Prairie into crop land and pasture land with hedgerows around fences at 31 m (102 ft) elevation.
Location
Just west of Marlin, Falls County, Texas, USA.
