Red-tailed Hawk
Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis) leaving its perch. Its perch was an antenna of a remote sensing station for a natural gas pipeline.
Habitat
Post Oak Savanna vegetation area, Brazos River Valley, urban area with tame pastureland on the north side of the road at 77 m (253 ft) elevation.
Location
Mumford Benchley Road nw of Benchley, Robertson County, Texas, USA.
