Red-tailed with Bunny Lunch

Red-tailed with Bunny Lunch (Buteo jamaicensis)

While out with our Thursday morning birding group, looking for shorebirds (unfortunately non close enough for good photos!) we came across this Redtail who had just caught a bunny and was very reluctant to leave it. Caught these shots from car as we were leaving to go to another area. Funny, it's the shots you don't expect that are sometimes the best ones.
