Red-winged Blackbird, female (Agelaius phoeniceus)

Just snoozing along the driveway to the entrance to Brookgreen Gardens. Opened her eyes for a few seconds to check me out.
Habitat
Pines and Live Oaks
Location
Brookgreen Gardens, Murrells Inlet, SC
Date taken
12/5/2018
Scientific name
Agelaius phoeniceus
Equipment used

A beautifully-taken image of a blackbird that is not all black, Robert. I looked it up in my guide-book. I think the plumage of the female is really lovely. A superb shot.

.... do you need to be checked out Bob? LOL

That's a super picture you've taken of her my friend. She looks so lovely in the sunlight.

Very nicely done my friend.
