Reddish Egret (Egretta rufescens rufescens) juvenile, hiding in the sea ox-eye (Borrichia frutescens: Asteraceae).
Habitat
Gulf Prairies and Marshes vegetation area, Neches River floodplain. Floodplain marsh at 18 m (58 ft) elevation.

Hazel Bazemore County Park, CalAllen, San Patricio County, Texas, USA.
