Redshank.
Remembering last summer when a pair of redshank bred on my local reserve and raised three chicks. Sadly none of them fledged and I've not seen the redshank since! I try to remain hopeful that they might return to have another go this year? Who knows? Delightful birds and one of my favourite waders. Watercolour.
