Redwing
Another of the more unusual early March visitors to the garden.

I had a job to choose which image to upload, as 'continuous' gives me so many images LOL. But eventually chose this one, as I'm sure he's calling (couldn't hear, the window was shut). His bill is open and the red blob looks like his tongue. He'd not stopped to get any berries LOL.

A nice autumnal setting for this un Delia...I never got a close look at these or Fieldfares this past winter, lucky you.

By the way I meant to credit you on my SC Flycatcher shot Yesterday - it was your tip about Flycatchers returning to their perch that allowed me to get a couple of shots, many thanks Delia!

Great capture and bird, Delia. (Continuous AF gives you more chance of catching something you might have missed with a single shot, but you spend more time sorting through your pictures ;) )
