Redwing (Turdus iliacus)

My first, and so far only, winter thrush. Fairly heavy crop. The tree is about 80 feet away, but it's possible to get acceptable pictures of birds there if the light is good.

Oh how lovely that is John. Redwings have to be the prettiest of our winter thrushes.
