Reed Bunting (Emberiza schoeniclus)

Leaving the Mithras Temple ruins, I stopped to watch a Reed Bunting singing on a fence at the edge of the marsh. I'd seen a Reed Bunting earlier in my trip, already at Cardiff. That one had a crippled foot and was feeding on bread crumbs left on a pier by humans feeding the ducks. I may post an image of that one tomorrow, but for today two shots of this healthy-looking male.
