Regent Bowerbird
If you come to Queensland, the Lamington Tablelands is a must. In particular is O'Reilly's Guest house at the Green Mountain end. The Regent is my favourite Bower bird - they can be cheeky but are a delight to see flashing thought the rainforest canopy. October and November are the best times to see them

They sure are a stunning bird David, pity the road up there is such a nightmare eh. The guy from the Llama Ranch does it twice a day to take his kids to school, keen or crazy?

I have only ever seen this magnificent bird in a book, this is stunning, thanks for showing him to us.
Also thanks for the information, I would love to go back to the Lamington Tablelands, it is about 35 years since I was last there.

What a beautiful shot of this magnificent bird! I would love to see one in the wild, the only one I've ever seen is in the Adelaide zoo - utterly spectacular, but not the same at all as a bird in the wild.
