Remains of a Bird (Skylark or Curlew)

Not sure if this is OK? ...but I thought this made for an interesting photo. The photo was taken on the North Yorkshire Moors while I was walking the Cleveland Way NT. There was a lot of Skylarks and Curlews in the area so I believe it is most probably a juvenile one of them. Death is part of nature and it looks a bit like it is slowly being absorbed into the ground and becoming an imprint on the landscape...

The size of the feet look too big for a skylark.

For confirmation, though, you might like to pass this by the ID forum.

Always so sad to see a youngster who hasn't made it.
