Remembering Fall colours 3 (Turdus pilaris)

This year, it was the Fieldfares who were first ... well, no not quite. A flock of Starlings were first, and my regular birds like the Greenfinches nibbled a bit too, but it was the Fieldfares who arrived in large numbers and finished off the wee sargent apple berries in my garden. I've seen a few Waxwings here and there around town, but it wasn't a big berry year in town so they've mostly stayed out in the woods this year.
