Resting Woodpecker

This piliated woodpecker was "resting" way up a very tall tree in my front yard. It kept looking skyward. Not sure why. Maybe waiting for it's mate. There is also a pair of very noisy bald eagles nesting less than a block away in a neighbor's back yard. Maybe the woodpecker was just laying low because of the eagles.
