Database Editors:
I have noticed that this photo has been linked to the slot for A. novaeseelandiae. This is not correct for the Sibley-Monroe. I will try to leave a comment in the Database later and attempt to unravel the yarn-ball that is the taxonomy of all the various races issueing from the old "Richard's Pipit". That is not to say that I can succeed as the taxonomy of this bird is not well understood and the intrepretations of it are diverse. In any case, for this Database, this is Paddyfield Pipit - Anthus rufulus lugubris.
