Ring-billed Gull (Larus delawarensis)

I've been trying to share this for several days, but no chances of browsing the gallery for a break! :-C Hope now I can.

This is from the mega-busy times a couple of months ago: I had a walk during a break at work to the local park with my faithful Leica and look what I came across: a Ring-billed Gull, standing there like claiming to be photographed! ;) You don't find a North American visitor every day, so I did my best to get a nice picture to add it as a newbie to my gallery, and here it is, hoping you like it! o:)

Great find and a superbly expressive and detailed shot. Congrats,my friend !

o:) Thank you a pile for having a look and saying what you think in this piccie, one that I treasure because of the great souvenir it makes... and I like it too, that's why I shared it! ;) To be honest, as many of you, the reflections on the water is my favourite part of the picture, even if I'm glad of not burning the whites (I deal better that point with the Leica than with the Canon, all my Gull pictures with the Canon are rubbish, :eek!:)

Cheers, everybody!!! B :)

Beautiful capture, Marian - it's nice to see a post from you. Now encourage one of your Spanish birds to fly this way!
