Ring-billed Gull (Larus delawarensis)

This gull is the first "Bird in Flight" photo I ever shot. Funny that the quality isn't really up to par, but I like the way the sun backlights the picture and plays through the feathers turning the photo to black and white. Yep! This is my "Gateway" bird, the one that hooked me.
