Gulls are relatively easy BIF subjects. I am working on getting shots that do not feature exclusively blue sky.

Terrific aerial MMF. It is a real challenge to get birds in flight without a uniform background like a blue sky. You did great! TFS!
Yeah, cameras that recognize birds like the OM-1 and others would be a big improvement. Most of the time, the background is in focus.

I have a fighting chance if I can focus on the bird in blue sky and follow it into a different background.
