Ring-necked Parakeet (Psittacula krameri)

About 5 regulars now - at least a dozen within earshot each day. They're great to watch (especially the squabbling over food, and watching them use their beak like a hand when climbing about the feeders), but noisy and keep the smaller birds off all of the feeders. Fortunately, they only stay for about 10 minutes at a time, but visits are becoming more frequent throughout each day. Oh, and a few no longer spook when I open the door, so I can't scare them off without scaring the rest of the birds (and they return in a few minutes anyway)

They've not reached here yet Chris, and weren't really known when I lived in London, so I've never seen any, but looks like you've got a troublesome band with you!

A lovely picture though and sounds like they're quite amusing to watch.

Very well done mate.
