Robin returns (Erithacus rubecula)

Robins seem to disappear from here all the summer, so I was pleased to see this one come back at the beginning of September.

It's such a shame that I never see the young ones.

What a lovely portrait of your delightful, returning Robin, Delia. Thanks for sharing.
My robin turned up last week and today I was chuffed to see a dunnock in my garden for the first time in a long while.

He is saying " here, take a snap of me". Beautiful setting and shot, Delia!! Your robins are so colorful. Indian robins are black/brown in color.

These wee beauties are always good for a pic...Well captured Delia. We're still dog sitting at Wroxham, moving on to Lakenheath on thursday.

I do believe it was smiling at you.. and us ;) A very lovely image of this Robin D.

Great pose and setting, Delia. I see the juves each year, but they're not east to spot amongst the vegetation; I often see them as they hop out onto the ground
