Robin returns (Erithacus rubecula)

Robins seem to disappear from here all the summer, so I was pleased to see this one come back at the beginning of September.

It's such a shame that I never see the young ones.

No wonder it has just been voted Britain's favourite bird, they are fabulous little creatures. It's a lovely shot Delia.

Same here, by the way. Summer time they're all over the woods. Now that days are shorter and colder, I'm starting to hear them in the neighborhood, and day before yesterday I saw one in my garden :D
