Robin Super Star (Erithacus rubecula)

This little guy, dying to be photographed, appeared right by me while I was on ground trying to photograph hoverflies with the Coolpix. I crowled carefully to reach the other gear, took positions and remembered I have a zoom to make it fit in the frame (:-O) and it was still there waiting patiently to have its portrait taken! :bounce: Thank you, Robin, for your patience and cooperation!!! :-O

Hi Marian, yes Robin is always a great bird to photograph and you did it very well, great details and lovely setting

A splendid image of a robin . Excellent detail and great colours. I like the pose too. It looks as if the bird wanted to remind you there are other creatures than insects to photograph or maybe he wanted to show he could lord it over you crawling on the ground.

One super capture Marian, such super littler birds. Always a pleasure seeing a photo of one!

LOL! It knew you'd do it justice with a very fine image. That's why it waited patiently ;)

Absolutely gorgeous, Marian, a captue of greatness and one to be real proud of. I am impressed with your photographic skills, Young Lady.

A clever bird, he really knows what to do and whom to wait for, Marian.
He will be satisfied in every aspect with this portrait!
