Rock Pipit - Anthus petrosus (Anthus petrosus)

Having struggled to get a shot of this pipit while it walked along the beach it then decided to fly straight at me and land on the wall right in front of me.
My dilemma then was if the breakwater we were both on was wide enough for me to back off far enough to get it in frame without ending up in the harbour !
The way it is looking at me you could imagine it was hoping for a good laugh ;0)

A beautiful closeup John!

I'm gonna have to go through all the images of a Rock Pipit in the Gallery to see if there are any not perched on a rock ;)

Lol ! I can vouch for the fact that they do sometimes KC !
A big thank you to both yourself and Stanley for your comments.
