Rock Pipit
Here's the first of the pictures from Scotland.
It hasn't been a great summer either in Scotland or Sweden but I think we were lucky with the weather. We had sunshine for our boat trips and there was only one day on Skye when it rained continuously. We just stayed in the hostel in Uig all day, only venturing out to stock up with food and drink in the local store.

Great close-up and bird, Graham. Glad to hear you enjoyed the break; looks like you saw some good birds too

Stunning close-up with spectacular clarity, lighting, feather detail, colors, and background. Exquisite Graham!!!!

Two super captures Mac, hope you kept stocked up with beer mate...Regarding the Gulls, they do get noisy, especially while they have young. We can hear em through the night at this time of year. Mostly they're just after food to feed their young, and they go to extra lengths, as we would to look after our young. They were here long before us, and hopefully they'll be here long after us.
