rooks for rookery. (corvus frugilegus)

get alot of these guys in my small garden and gentle giants they are and i love to see them and hope i see more of them to observe their interactions.very wary and intelligent these guys are.for dick know you love these too.

Lots of these lovely Rooks in a field near me but not in my garden (so far !). A beautiful collage, Mags !!! Thanks for sharing.

A lovely compilation that Margaret. Rooks are such characters, but such scaredy-cats!! I've no idea how they see me move in my sitting room, but they're off as soon as I move to get the camera.

You've got some nice poses there lass.
 
These birds are smart..but I am seeing less and less of them over the past few years....loss of habitat, pollution etc are playing a havoc on all urban residing birds... but in the villages around, the situation is not so bad...for now!!!!
