Rose-breasted Grosbeak

Rose-breasted Grosbeak (Pheucticus ludovicianus)

I've really enjoyed the spring birds this year while getting the gardens sorted out for the season. I've had a pair of these beauties in the feeders every day along with all the usual finches, sparrows and Blue Jays. I've also had Orioles on the suet feeders which I've never seen before. Such beautiful birds. I'm hoping for a few shots of them before too long.

Lovely capture Deanne. these birds are super.
Also, thanks for the tips for NH, the lakes region of your super state is really fantastic and I will be returning there.

Exceptionally fine image, what a wonderful bird you have captured Deanne, thanks for sharing.

Terrific capture of one of my favourite birds. We had a female in our garden, but the only males I've seen this year have been down at Prince Edward Point.

Wow Deanne this is fabulous - wonderful detail and such a great looking subject! :t::t::t:
