Rose-throated Becard (male)
Rose-throated Becard (Pachyramphus aglaiae subsp. latirostris) Male, species sexually dimorphic. The male of this subspecies lacks the rose throat and is one of the palest subspecies in color. Bosque del Ro Tigre Lodge, Osa Peninsula, Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica. About 1 km east of the town Dos Brazos de Ro Tigre. Pacific secondary rain forest at ca. 130 m (427 ft) elevation.
