ROSS'S GOOSE (Chen rossii or Anser rossii)

I was out at Sunset Park this afternoon for a little while and saw this beautiful Goose swimming around in the park. The first thing I saw was the white feathers and the black ones at the rear.

A very nice photo of this goose;love the way the waves follow the bird(saw one in California when visiting the US in 1989.Thank you for bringing back great memories of 2 months of birding.

Thank you Hans and Judy. It never seems to fail that I always find a couple of birds that I have not seen before. I am going to a few places that I have not been before tomorrow and plan on being out of the house by 6 am. And I am glad I could bring back some good memories.
