It looks like this bird may have some Snow Goose genes mixed in. It doesn't look like a pure Ross's to me.

I remember seeing this very accommodating goose at Marshside a few years ago. And a brilliant shot you have of it. Three great captures, well done.

Thank you for your view on this bird jmepler. I'm certainly no expert and only took the word of another birder at the time. I wonder if others have an opinion?
