Royal River Cruiser
Royal River Cruiser (Macromia faeniolata: Macromiidae) 7.7-9.2 cm (3.0-3.6 in) long. A new dragonfly species for me. Its hanging perch is ashe juniper.
Habitat
The crossroads of the Blackland Prairie and the Lampasas Cut Plain vegetational areas. Back slough off the main lake at 140 m (459 ft) elevation.
Location
Woodway Park 1, Lake Waco, Woodway, McLennan County, Texas, USA.
