This is a good image, has a lot of potential. If I may. Obviously you want to use as fast a Tv (shutter) value as possible; nothing under 1/1000, especially if hand-held: 2) DOF (especially on the 100-400) of f8.0 and smaller, i.e. f9.0, f11.0 etc. 3) hummingbirds have irridesence so benefiet greatly from fill flash. A dedicated flash gun (any of the canon EX series, say the 460) will synch with all shutterspeeds and will highlight the irridesence. Again I say this because the image has potential. MHO :t: :t:
