Woohoo! At long last I have a Hummingbird for my gallery. I've been incredibly busy in the gardens all summer so no time for my birds except to enjoy them as I attend to the gardening chores. This time of the year we always have a lot of Ruby-throats around and yesterday there were quite a few. Maybe they were feeding up before moving on before the storm that is supposed to arrive tomorrow. Anyway, I couldn't resist and finally put my 500 back on the 40D and sat outside waiting for the Hummingbirds to feed on the salvia. I got a big kick out of the pollen on her little head. What a cutie!
